Define the metrics. Build the foundation. Make product decisions at Simployer impossible to make without data. At some point last quarter, someone at Simployer asked how many users actually engage with a feature after the first week. They got an answer. A few weeks later, someone else asked the same question and got a different one. Both were correct. Neither were useful. That's the problem this role fixes. We are an HR-tech company that helps organisations manage their people better. We're building a proper data foundation right now. Clean events. A modelled layer. Analytics that product teams can actually use. Our lead data engineer joined earlier this year. Now we need the person who makes that foundation useful. We're looking for someone who gets energised by questions like: What if every product team agreed on what "active user" actually means?
