Tech Lead - Backend Delivery

As the Technical Lead for the Backend Delivery team at Embark, you will work in the shared tech organization and lead the technical execution of reliability and developer experience. Backend Delivery is a platform team that serves other shared tech functions by building self-serve infrastructure, tooling, and managing our shared multi-tenant clusters. Some examples of things we’re working on include CI/CD, observability, mesh networking, build pipelines, etc. Some of the technologies we use to make all of those are Go, Python, GCP, Bazel, Terraform, Kubernetes, Istio. You will mentor and guide engineers, collaborate closely with design and product, and make architectural decisions regarding the infrastructure and backend development platform.
