Your Tasks
* Develop and improve the steady-state and transient performance of gas engines through simulation and testing.
* Lead gas engine development projects focusing on power, efficiency, emissions, transient behavior and operating strategies.
* Plan and conduct in-house testing on single- and multi-cylinder engines, focusing on mixture preparation, gas exchange, ignition, combustion and turbocharging.
* Analyze and interpret simulation and measurement results, draw conclusions and prepare reports.
* Validate engine and component performance, including testing at research institutes and customer sites.
* Collaborate closely with controls, design, mechanical engineering, emissions aftertreatment, test bench, service, manufacturing and order engineering teams, as well as external suppliers.
