**Key Accountabilities** * Independently plan, execute, and troubleshoot practical organic chemistry experiments using a broad range of synthetic methodologies. * Conduct route scouting and reaction optimization with consideration for scalability, efficiency, safety, and process development requirements. * Purify target compounds using appropriate techniques including flash chromatography, crystallization, distillation, and other standard laboratory methods. * Independently characterize synthesized compounds and assess purity using analytical techniques such as NMR, HPLC, LC\-MS, and related methods. * Perform, document, and review laboratory risk assessments in accordance with Syngenta health, safety, and environmental standards. * Maintain accurate and comprehensive experimental records in laboratory notebooks and relevant electronic systems. * Demonstrate high standards of productivity, scientific rigor, and documentation quality. * Communicate research findings effectively through…
