Assistant director of nursing

Assistant Director of Nursing required to support the Person in Charge/Director of Nursing in managing clinical services, leading staff and maintaining safe, person-centred resident care. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Support the overall management of nursing and care services • Deputise for the PIC/DON as required • Oversee care standards, assessments and care plans • Support HIQA compliance, clinical governance and risk management • Coordinate audits and quality improvement actions • Review incidents, safeguarding concerns and complaints • Support recruitment, induction, supervision and staff development • Review staffing, rosters and resources within agreed budgets • Promote infection prevention, health and safety • Work with residents, families…
