Postdoctoral position - ATLAS Higgs data analysis (f/m/d) The Max-Planck-Institute for Physics is engaged in fundamental research in particle and astroparticle physics from both experimental and theoretical perspectives. One main research activity is the participation in the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN. We invite applications for a postdoctoral position in experimental particle physics to work on Higgs data analysis within our ATLAS Muon Group. Our long-standing analysis program focuses on exploring the properties of the Higgs boson and searching for physics phenomena beyond the Standard Model. In parallel, the group is engaged in hardware activities related to the development and implementation of new FPGA-based trigger processors, both for the operation of the ATLAS muon spectrometer during the high-luminosity phase of the LHC and for future collider experiments. The successful candidate is expected to play a leading role in ATLAS Higgs boson physics a
