France's 6% rule has funded 17,000 workplace adaptations
French law requires every employer with 20 or more staff to ensure at least 6% of their workforce has a recognised disability (RQTH status), or pay into the AGEFIPH fund. The agency redistributes contributions as grants for adaptations, training, and assistive equipment. In 2021 alone, AGEFIPH funded 17,049 adaptations.
