Designer– Draughtspersons

Our client, John Foley Building Solutions Limited, based in Gowran, Co. Kilkenny, is currently seeking Designer–Draughtspersons for immediate start for their facility in Gowran, Co. Kilkenny.Key Responsibilities and Duties:- Produce high-quality structural steel detailing drawings and 3D models. The successful candidate will support engineers, fabricators, and project managers by creating accurate fabrication and erection models, drawings, and documentation for a wide range of steel construction projects.- Develop detailed structural steel 3D models using Tekla Structures.- Produce fabrication drawings, general arrangement drawings, and assembly details to industry standards.- Prepare accurate bills of materials (BOMs), cutting lists, bolt lists, and reports from the Tekla model.- Interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design intent.- Identify and communicate design discrepancies, clashes, and coordination issues.- Collaborate with engineers, project manag…
